“The World Premiere of ‘Heard’ at the Rio Theatre in Vancouver was more than I could’ve hoped for in a community screening. The film was open captioned and had ASL interpretation for both the film and the Q&A, and it felt like a truly immersive experience. The amount of messages, emails, voicenotes, DMs after this event was substantial. It’s clear there’s an appetite for this film not only within the Deaf / HoH circles, but universally, which is unexpected”
